Emily Reach White is an author and film producer who has made four award-winning feature films with her husband and writing partner, Chris White: UNBECOMING (2016), CINEMA PURGATORIO (2014), GET BETTER (2012), and TAKEN IN (2011).
Emily is the co-writer and co-director of GET BETTER—an award-winning, broken-family drama loosely based on writing from her blog and her dad’s fight with late-stage Lyme disease.
Emily's 2013 TEDxGreenville talk "Invisible Illness & Incommunicable Diseases" became a sensation within the Lyme community, as did her blog post, "At Least It Isn't Cancer"—which is included in her new memoir of the same name.
Emily speaks and teaches to educational, corporate, and community groups. Her presentations are engaging, well-organized, and easy to understand.
